BAD CHOICES MAKE GREAT STORIES

This is a story for my story. Success. Dreams. Hopes. Reality Check. Give Back. Share it. Honesty. Pain. Shame. That’s the game!

So let me share if you care…

I decided to open up about one of my personal stories, something wise people rarely do because the older we get, more walls we build in front of us because, as it’s so easy for others to judge us quickly and hurt us without even realizing where WE are coming from OR what OUR STORY is.

We all have so called amazing “experiences” but if I have to be honest we don’t really care or think often about the sad, dramatic poor people or those that weren’t so lucky so we just label them with #SorryNotSorry. They are just “outsiders” so their miserable life don’t matter and they just need to survive somehow, right?! #LawsOfTheJungle

Too bad if tomorrow we are in their position but shit happens, right?!

Well here is a small part of my story as I have never been an outsider or a loser and of course this should be a 🌶 spicy story, right? Well, for me it’s just my story from my life and I’ll be happy to share it with the ones that might need a good 5 mins read or a different prospective of our dreams and failures.

About 8 years ago I decided that Europe is too small for me, that many people couldn’t understand me, that I’m beyond amazing at my job and even my family was struggling to completely be on board with me as they were not seeing whatever I was imaging-I guess that’s good for them😂.

I don’t know if that makes sense but I was HUNGRY AND READY TO ACHIEVE MORE 💪🏻

So I was working for a great tech and telco company in Europe (the same I’m working now), I was managing a huge sales team that was crushing the market and honestly we were making great money for that time and even in general I was earning way more than my friends.

So I traveled, I was buying everything I needed but I was always looking for a greater challenge — it just wasn’t enough. We are always greedy, selfish and we always want more…

‼️The problem is that until all your dreams come true way too EARLY it’s a f🤟🏻cking PROBLEM‼️

Long story short — I quit my great job, I packed, I took goodbye 👋🏼 with everyone around me (trust me it was way more dramatic), got a one-way ticket ✈️ to the most amazing place in the world and decided that I could start from scratch at the place where all the dreams come true and where if you can make it there you can make it anywhere. AWESOME, right? 😎That’s how you do it! 🗽🙄 #greatplan #noplan

Hello, NYC✋🏻 🏙🗽🇺🇸

https://youtu.be/QsZlY0Vz4-o

Of course as a newcomer I had to quickly adapt, learn the lessons of #NewYork and find myself very quickly as the big APPLE was giving me the chance to be WHOEVER I WANTED BUT WASN’T GIVING ME MUCH TIME😎

SO ADAPT QUICKLY OR GET THE F🤟🏻CK OFF!

🤬PROBLEM NUMBER 1️⃣:

You don’t have to be someone the others are expecting you to be but someone that is unique and amazing as we all are. You have to be YOU so it could be real, so it could be your story — no matter how good or bad it is.

👍 😒Well of course I took a completely different approach — New York was TOUGH so I decided to be TOUGHER, BETTER, STRONGER 😂 #stupid #asshole

Let’s say that the first two years were a rollercoaster with new people that I met, good people that helped me and some other people. 🤐 I was feeling on a daily basis desperate and completely out of my comfort zone — disaster. Who cares?! It was my choice!

I spend 5️⃣ of my most amazing years in one of the most amazing cities in the world and experienced so many things from being on top of the world 🌎 to understanding I might not have a roof over my head tonight 🏠. That’s really 💩 (shitty) btw.

Note to myself: THAT’S WHAT YOU WANTED asshole. A real challenge 💪🏻 YOU HAVE IT — ENJOY THE RIDE!

Most of the people living in New York completely understand what I mean and this is the reason why this place is so magical.

So many people, rats, money, opportunities, languages, cultures, genders, psychos but at the same time so many similar stories that were all relatable for the people living there.

In order not to make this story long and boring — New York is AMAZING (Duh!) and a place that I will forever consider my HOME and a place where my ❤️ is . The people are awesome and tough. The city has everything you might dream of — from skyscrapers to people shitting on the street. THE CITY takes a toll and changes everything you were before but that’s the only way to survive. My point of view at that time🥴

Now several years later — older, a bit wiser, with way more experience, closer to my real family, surrounded by people that respect me for who I am, love me no matter what. I have a totally different prospective on life and dreams, a new path and many new challenges that I was never able to see before.

I am definitely grateful, not absolutely sure if I could say happier or completely satisfied but definitely a grown up man that could share so many amazing stories & EXPERIENCES that most people would never even believe. 👀

The best thing about life — the moments when you fail, screw up but you really get it completely wrong and fuck it up badly. When you cross the line and try to become someone that you think people will like or want. You learn tough love, hardcore lessons of survival in the most aggressive jungle but also if you really go through it all and you are capable to objectively observe and analyze what happened than instantly your story turns your life around and makes it into something way more valuable. YOU can share it and people will remember it, recognize themselves.

This story of your life and the challenges that we all went through could help others or could benefit others either way it’s good for all parties. You release the pain and the past by sharing. Those stories could be the light for someone that is only seeing darkness, could help someone understands that things really get better, yeah no matter how bad it is or it was it gets better or it will get better. Just wait and act!

Once you started blossoming with your true colors — you are turning from a survivor into a weapon and a tool for those in need, for those looking for answers or have been lost. You are already someone you never dreamed of because it’s beyond your wildest dreams. Don’t be ashamed as we all have bad stories but those are the ones that makes us better. You don’t turn back when you see someone in need, you don’t share wise advices but you tell a relatable story that can help others to find a way, to find a solution or to see the much needed hope. Trust me sometimes that’s so valuable as when there is hope — there is also life.

In general there is always a better way and all we need sometimes is a good storyteller that can help us better understand our own journey, so we can appreciate and value more the greatest gifts of all. Think about your story and embrace it the best possible way — it will help you and others around you.

To be continued… some day! 👍

That’s all🤟🏻

#peace #love #mystory 🖤🤍
